PPB2 Summer Charrette leg 01 is now over.

Two Submissions so far:

Joe Stenson - URBANroost, dovecote for urban pigeons.
John Warburton - Cantilevered Office expansion space.

Brief

Brief is released tomorrow (Sunday 31st May) @12pm GMT. I will be e-mailing and PMing those who have registered with a link to a .pdf file of the brief and there will also be a text posting here on the blog for reference. 

So it has been decided...

The project will be a form of parasite building attached to an existing facade of the entrant's choice.

Paramaters are wide, there are no boundaries to be set for what type or size of building that is to be tagged onto the existing structure... Just go for it!

Looking forward to seeing some really creative solutions.

...Ideas

So far ideas for a building brief have been:

- A shelter for smokers.

- A self sufficient temporary dwelling for a goat herder.

- Parasite building attached to an existing façade.

- Camera Obscura building located at a site of outstanding natural beauty.

- Wi-Fi browsing shelter for a City location.

- Demountable retail kiosk for a City location

All ideas need to be universal so that each entrant can apply it to their country of origin/residence.
